Hi, I’m Orskan.
I started InnerNorth out of a deep desire to help people — especially people who share a heart for serving others and building something meaningful. After spending many years working with some of the world’s largest companies, I found myself drawn more and more toward smaller, people-centered organizations where relationships, values, and long-term impact still matter deeply.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen that one of the biggest things holding people back is confidence — the confidence to be themselves, trust what they bring, and lead in a way that is true to who they are. I’ve also learned through years of international experience that people, teams, and cultures are different, and they need to be understood that way. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership or growth. Strong relationships matter deeply — internally and externally — and I’ve seen again and again that trust, connection, and understanding are often what make meaningful progress possible.
The more I stepped into people leadership and customer-facing roles, the more I realized this work was where I felt most at home. I believe good leadership should feel like pouring into others, watching them grow, and seeing them become more confident, capable, and willing to contribute in meaningful ways. A phrase I come back to often is this: get comfortable being uncomfortable. Growth usually begins there.
I’m a first-generation American, the son of parents from Medellín, Colombia, and I carry that perspective with me in how I see people, culture, and opportunity. I’m also a husband of more than 20 years and a father of two teens. My family and I live just outside Athens, Georgia, and some of my greatest joy comes from traveling with them, showing my kids how wide and wonderful the world is, and helping them see how much is possible.
Through InnerNorth, my hope is simple: to work with good people doing meaningful work, and to help them grow with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
